Letter to our Bronco Parents
Thank you for the gift of your children to the BSU experience. We are delighted they are with us. Bronco Catholic strives to help young people continue to grow into an adult faith life. This builds on the good foundation folks like you have provided. So thank you!
The college years are an exciting time for families as their students take those next important steps into adulthood. During their time at BSU they will be studying deeply the richness of human experience recorded and taught in the many different disciplines. Your students will also be growing in other ways; coming to deeper maturity in relationships, self knowledge, vocation, and learning ways to be in the world. We want to help your students into a deeper, more mature relationship with Christ. Our hope is that when they leave BSU they go into the world as Catholics on fire with the love of Christ.
You are always welcome here at Bronco Catholic. Come to Mass with us here on the weekends and feel free to drop by and say "Hello" anytime. It is always a treat to meet the families of the students we get to serve.
Okay, so perhaps you are wondering how you can be part of your student's Catholic experience in college. Take a look at the four easy ways to remain connected and involved.
1. Pray for the ministry here at St. Paul’s. Like most Catholic Campus Ministries we are only as strong as the prayer supporting us. We are able to build vibrant liturgies, give life changing retreats, study Scripture, evangelize our students and the campus, and provide day after day support because we are held in the strong arms of Christ. This happens through prayer – your prayer!
2. When you visit campus come to Mass – we love having parents and family join us here at St. Paul’s. If you have not been here before you might be surprised to find a whole range of folks worshipping together and supporting the ministry to students. Be part of it!
3. Keep in touch with Bronco Catholic. Sign up for the newsletter and listen to the homilies which are all online. The ministry team at Bronco Catholic is here to serve your children, let us know if your son or daughter is struggling and if we can help we will!
4. Get involved at the Center. If you live here in town and want to get involved by volunteering to help on retreats, or lead parts of ministry, or help support the weekend liturgies – let us know! Lots of way to be involved and many of them we are still learning. Give us your ideas!
